HTC.com – The new look HTC Website
The new look global HTC website is live and looking good. HTC.com has been totally revamped and upgraded, with new hi-specification graphics, more HTC videos and easier navigation. The support section has totally changed and now has an area where multiple support sections can be reached with one click.
Update – 14th September 2011 new HTC.com
HTC.com is starting to update around Europe, check out HTC.com in France, HTC.com in UK & Ireland, as of Wednesday 14th September the new sites are evolving. Check them out and leave a comment below with your opinion on the design!
HTC.com New Home Page
The new htc.com home page features a slightly different top menu compared to the original site. There is currently 4 top header links Discover, Smartphones, Tablets and Help (these links are explained in more details below).
New HTC.com Register Feature
To the right of the header menu is a Register link which opens a pop-up box which will allow you to enter your details to receive updates from HTC about new products and services.
New Search Layout
To the right of the register link is a search bar which is structured in a different manner to the last htc.com site. The most relevant posts show initially depending on the search query.
An additional search box appears on the results page alongside 3 links, (All, Products, Help).
- Select Product and you will only see search results for HTC Products
- Select Help and you will view all Help and Support related Search Results
Main HTC Product Banner Area
The main product banner has been changed to incorporate a cover for each section which has a hanging tag that requires the user to pull the tag across the screen to view the product beneath. The banner is also timed so if the tag is not pulled across the screen, the banner area will change.

If you think this website change is so good please follow the Help route for support for an original HTC Desire.
My opinion of these changes – If it aint broke don’t fix it.

HI James, I do agree the site is not perfect but it’s an improvement and after speaking with a contact at HTC they are aware of this bug and are in the process of fixing it, unfortunately the fix will not be implemented until next week. What is the issue you have with the htc desire I can help look for a fix. Cheers
